How the business started: The story behind this business : I started AP SILKS as a tribute to my parents , the A and P to my silks (lol). As every immigrant family has gone through, my parents worked long and hard to ensure we have the best in this country. They had two businesses in the past, which were unsuccessful and took a huge toll on both my parents mental health. We lost family and friends in the process as well. Starting this business was spontaneous, but it was the little bit of hope my parents had that made me determine I can push through.

Where do you hope to be in the next year?

I hope to grow my audience on social media platforms, so that it opens up a world of opportunities. I also want to partner with a non profit organization in Sri Lanka, where each purchase made at AP silks , a small percentage will be put towards a donation to this nonprofit organization to help war torn citizens in The northern parts of Sri Lanka.
